130 participants from Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Embassy, Peking university, KNAW, 10 different universities of Netherlands, Zhongguancun Europe Office, Dutch life science companies and research institutes are in the audience.

Professor Evert jacobsen, Research Director of Wageningen Plant Sciences, gave a presentation under the title of State-of-the-art Plant Sciences In the Netherlands.
Mr. Tong Guang-Wu, the First Secretary of the Education Section, Chinese Embassy in Netherlands.
Dr. Ka Wan Li, Assistant Professor at Free university in Amsterdam, gave a presentation of proteomic research in nurosciences.
Dr. Qin Ling gave a general review on genomic research in nematode. 
Tony Zhou presented some very interesting technology in drug development
Xiaoqin Wang's presentation is Nanobiotechnology and its applications on therapeutics and diagnostics
Yu Haixiang from Leiden University gave a summary on Phage display, and its application in drug discovery.

After the Forum, Ambassador Xue Hanqin (2nd left) met the Burgemeester (Mayer) of Wageningen, A. Pechtold (1st left), Vice-Chairman of WUR, Prof. K.J. van Ast (2nd right), and Rector Megnificus of Wageningen University, Prof. Speelman (1st right).
The Burgemeester (Mayer) of Wageningen, A. Pechtold welcomes Ambassador Xue Hanqin to visit Wageningen.  He is proud of seeing Wageningen as being of "a city of life sciences".
Dr. Zhu Zheng and his delegation from the Chinese Academy of Sciences met Prof. Just Vlak from the virology department, Dr. Andy Pereira and Dr. Chun-ming Liu at the Plant Research International.
