Dear friends and colleagues,

Herewith we would like to bring to your attention of the first announcement
of the 3rd Dutch-Chinese Life Sciences Forum, to be held in University
Medical Center of Groningen (UMCG) during October 7-8, 2005.

The series of forums were initiated by Chinese Network of Life Sciences
(CNLN) and have aroused attentions gradually from both sides of China and
The Netherlands. Wageningen University Research (WUR), Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), Chinese Embassy in NL, Royal Dutch Academy of Sciences (KNAW) and many other organizations are among financial sponsors or management sponsors for the past two forums (2003; 2004). Many top scientists from china and NL attended forums and gave distinguished lectures in the past. Many young scientists, who worked and studied in relevant fields of life science, actively participated the forums and made great contributions.

Viewing the positive outcome from the past two forums, CNLN would like to
organize the third forum this year, together with UMCG/GUIDE and ACSSG. The program of the forum will be announced in due course. Your suggestions and contributions would be appreciated very much.
